MAKING TAMIYA SAND SCORCHER INDICATORS
I made the indicators for my Tamiya Sand Scorcher just a £1 with 5mm orange LED’s (Maplin’s part no CK38 £0.29) and LED clips (Maplin’s part no YY40 £0.15). I dipped them in silver paint to get a nice even finish and ground down the ridge on the LED to allow the LED to push further into the clip, I then glued them with clear silicon.
