SAAB

CUT OUT NON START

Coil pack can fail, check to see if rev counter moves on cranking and you can hear the fuel pump run, it probably is the coil pack, easy to fit but about £200, if the rev counter doesn't move check crank sensor.

FLAT BATTERY CAN’T OPEN CAR

Some Saab's can be difficult to open, if the battery goes flat and they are dead locked, what you need to do is power the car up by going under the engine and connecting you jump leads (red positive) to the main lead on either the starter motor or alternator and the black negative lead to the chassis or engine block, you can then unlock doors and jump start in normal way. Don't try starting car though alternator wiring only open doors.
