SERVICE LIGHT RESET PROCEDURES
WARNING. Only use these Service Light Reset Procedures if you have serviced your car to the manufacturer’s recommended standard. I have not used or tested every reset procedures listed, and cannot be responsible for any damage.
RENAULT CLIO TRAFFIC ETC
Is just your SERV light on? This is an Engine Management Light and you will need diagnostic equipment to find the cause. Don’t drive to far if engine running badly as it will damage the catalytic converter.
If the SERV light and spanner symbol is on, this can be reset by
1. Ignition on (don’t start)
2. Depress accelerator pedal completely
3. Depress brake pedal three times in succession
4. Spanner symbol should disappear
RENAULT CLIO III 2006-on watch video
1. Ignition on
2. Press either button on wiper stalk until spanner symbol and miles to service appears dash
3. Press and hold either button on wiper stalk for approximately 10 seconds until the new service interval is displayed.
4. Release button
RENAULT LAGUNA II AND VEL SATIS
1. Ignition on
2. Press the end of wiper stalk until spanner symbol and miles to service appears dash
3. Now press trip reset button on dash until it has flashed 8 times
4. Release trip reset button
5. It will now display service interval
